“Die Seele muss vom Reittier steigen…” (2002) is such a fantastic piece. I’m delighted to be joining Kai Wessel (countertenor), Olivier Marron (cello), Peter Rundel (conductor), Collegium Novum Zürich and the ensemble Contrechamps, Genève with the baryton to perform it in November. It will be the first time since Klaus’s death that I’ve performed the work and will therefore be a particularly moving experience. With “The soul…” another world really opens up – the harmonies and timbres are magical. Not to be missed!
