The Festival frauenkomponiert 2021 kicks off in style with a live radio broadcast for BBC Radio 3 with the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Jessica Horsley. The pandemic makes things far from easy, but the musical programme is glorious – and so are the musicians of the BBC Concert Orchestra. On the programme are works by Ruth Gipps, Cécile Marti and Peggy Glanville-Hicks.
